Seniors – Week of January 24

Dear Seniors, This semester you will have multiple opportunities to reflect on your CJHS experience.This week, I’d like you to think about behavior and discipline at CJHS. First, what areas make us different from other schools? What changes have you seen since you entered as a freshman? What recommendations do you have? Please give this careful thought. As we begin to become acquainted with Willy Loman, we will consider the dreams (American dreams, if you will) he has for his family. Your families have dreams for you, too. Do you share those dreams or are they a source of conflict for you? Will you have similar dreams for your children?

This week, we’re beginning a short unit on Mark Twain, the great American humorist. It makes me think about what makes me laugh. How do you perceive humor? What makes something funny?
